Mark Your Calendars!
December is a very busy month for families and, at the same time, special things are happening at school. Please make sure that these dates are on your calendar:
- Monday, December 1: The Mini Term begins! Please check the Mini Term Page for details!
- Friday, December 5: There is no school for the Sky Class or for grades K-5, due to parent teacher conferences. However, there is school as usual for grades 6, 7, & 8, since those parent-student-teacher conferences were held in October.
- Saturday, December 6: Open House is taking place at Mustard Seed School on Saturday morning for prospective parents. If you know of any families who might be interested in Mustard Seed, please invite them!
- Thursday, December 18: Las Posadas! Every student from K-8 is involved in our annual Christmas Concert at the celebration of Las Posadas. The Chorus, Choristers, Songsters, and PROS will all be leading in music. All students in grades 6-8 will be leading the procession. ALL students will be gathering at Church Square Park for the procession that will lead us all to the concert and, after the concert, ALL students will enjoy the breaking of the pinata and music in the gym. ALL students' progress reports will reflect their participation, service, and leadership. This is an evening event that closes the December mini-term. Please, mark your calendars now!
- Friday, December 19 - Sunday, January 4: Christmas break.
- Friday, January 2 - Staff work day (no students).
- Monday, January 5 - School resumes for students
