Summer Reading
It is time to start thinking ahead to the summer reading requirements for students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Every summer, middle school students read a number of books that will prepare them for the upcoming year and help them maintain the good reading habits they developed this year.
This summer, all students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will read Dark Sons by Nikki Grimes. In addition to our shared read, students will read four additional books from the summer reading list.
