As we start a new year, there are a few important things to keep in mind.
First, about forms. Please be sure that you have received all the required forms and returned the signed forms to the office. All this must be completed before children may attend school. Please email jgautier@mustardseedschool.org or phone the office if you have any questions.
Please mark your calendars.
Please also take note that, as the Parent Handbook states, the day is longer for Grades 6-8.
On Tuesday night, you will hear about all this and more.

- Tuesday, September 8 - Welcome Back (An Evening for Parents Only)
- Parents of students in grades 4-8 arrive by 7:30 PM. This is the evening during which teachers share class schedules, curriculum plans for the year, and practical weekly routines and procedures.
- Wednesday to Friday, October 7-9: Spruce Lake Overnight Outdoor Education in Pennsylvania. More details to come soon.
- Thursday evening and Friday, October 22-23: Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences
- Starting in Grade 6, students attend conferences with their parents. So, classes will not be in session on Friday, Oct. 23, but older students will come to school - along with their parents (by appointment) on Thursday afternoon, Thursday evening, or Friday during the day.
Please also take note that, as the Parent Handbook states, the day is longer for Grades 6-8.
- On the first day of school, arrive by 8:30 and go to the gym for opening worship.
- On Thursday and Friday, enter the northwest entrance between 8:10-8:15 AM. We start school before any other grades, but dismissal is at noon.
- Starting on Monday and thereafter:
- Arrival: Between 8:00 - 8:15 AM at the Northwest Entrance.
- Dismissal:
- Grades 6-8 dismiss at 3:15 PM.
- Grades 6 & 7 exit through the northwest entrance.
- Grade 8 usually dismisses through the main entrance.
