What is Mini Term?
Every year, the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the “Mini Term” weeks, are busy ones at Mustard Seed. There are unique units of study, opportunities for service, the celebration of Advent, and more. Then, on the last day of the mini term, we all gather in the evening to celebrate Las Posadas, as led by our Middle School students. Here are some of the unique experiences of the season:
Internships- Seventh and eighth grade student serve in lower school classrooms and Park
Student led courses- Student in grade 8 develop and teach courses for 4th and 5th grade students
Community led courses- Members from our community come to lead courses
Geo Bee prep with Mr. Choi
Shakespeare with Mrs. Decker and Ms. Buys
