History Exhibition 2019

For this year’s History Exhibition, 7th graders will research a topic found between the years 1900 CE to
1950 CE.  The History Exhibition will be graded on three different elements:  Oral, Visual and an artifact.

Oral and Visual

The oral and visual portion of the exhibition will take place on February 21.  Students will be required to
speak for 8-15 minutes on their topic, accompanied by a visual presentation.  The visual presentation can
be a slide show (powerpoint, prezi, keynote, etc), a web page (free web page creator such as weebly), a
documentary (created with iMovie or other such applications) or any other creative way to present your
topic (make sure you have approval from Mr. Choi before proceeding).  Included in the presentation
should be general information about the topic such as what it is and when and where it took place as
well as their historical significance.

Artifact

Directly after the individual presentations, the 7th graders will gather in the Lab to present their artifacts.

The artifact should be made by the student and not just store bought.

From 10:15 to 10:45, we will meet in the Science Lab where 7th graders will stand with their artifacts and the rest of the audience will walk around and ask questions.
